What will you do? 

As a financial administrative officer, you will perform tasks for two companies: Eco Ketelservice Verhuur bv and Eco Steam Trading & Consultancy bv. Together with the finance team leader and administrative supporter, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily accounting within these entities:

  • Register incoming invoices and prepare journal entries.
  • Prepare outgoing invoices.
  • Perform project administration for custom client requests.
  • Conduct bank bookings.
  • Assist in creditor and debtor management.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of monthly and annual closings, VAT returns, CBS statistics, internal reports, and analyses (e.g., rental fleet).
  • Identify trends in costs and revenues.
  • Be flexible to assist with tasks such as audits and projects for continuous process improvement and automation.
  • Proactively seek ways to optimize work.
  • Collaborate closely with sales engineers, buyers, and project managers.

What do we expect from you?

You have proven experience in performing administrative tasks and interpreting numerical information. You are a team player and proficient with MS Office. Knowledge of Microsoft NAV and a good command of the English language is a plus.

Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following qualities: you are flexible, eager to learn, and can work autonomously. You are available for 32-40 hours per week.

As an individual, you are resilient under pressure and possess precision and efficiency in your DNA. You have a customer-oriented attitude and understand the needs of internal and external customers. Your goal is always to meet or exceed expectations. You are strong in planning, organizing, and prioritizing and do not shy away from challenges! Finally, you have a flexible attitude and can handle changes and dynamics well.
