The entire installation including pipework was prefabricated and completely set up in our workshop in Tilburg. It was then transported to the site using 4 flatbed trailers and 10 trucks.

All units were built - in whole or in part - in containers; suitable for outdoor installation and designed for a minimum outdoor temperature of -25 degrees Celsius. Eco also handled the connecting pipework, advanced controls and platforms including installation, commissioning and on-site service. 

A journey of 800 kilometers

After a journey of about 800 kilometers from Tilburg, the various spare steam boilers arrived at #BASFschwarzheide. The boilers sets were needed to back up the gas and steam turbine power plant, which was being decommissioned as part of the plant's modernisation process.

What a sight to behold

After prefabrication in our workshop, transport, unloading and assembly in Schwarzheide, the 4 Bosch steam boilers of 16 t/h, the 4 degassers and a pressure reducing unit were in place. And what a sight to behold!

If we do say so ourselves. And our client certainly agrees. But we will always still be 'just Eco'. That is how we define professionalism at Eco.

Total Steam Solution

The final setup included four Bosch steam boilers of 16 t/h, four degassers, and a pressure-reducing unit, all producing 60,000 kg/h of superheated steam.
